Compact Designed Expansion Module is designed to allow specifiers to integrate the demanding variety of sensors and switches that are found on vessels into the DCU or other ships systems. The Expansion Module communicates with the DCU via a simple two wire link and also has Ethernet connectability. The Expansion Module is automatically configured by the DCU when connected, but using password protected areas. Compact Designed Expansion Module can be reconfigured, whether connected to a DCU or used as an independent standalone unit.
