These Fibre Glass Reinforced Plastic Gratings or Floorings by weight is 70% fiberglass reinforcement and 305 thermosetting polyester resins. Bearing bars include pultruded sections of 25 mm depth width and 8 mm width. The pultruded section ensures efficient material distribution resulting in a high strength to weight ratio. Bearing bars have slip resistance grit bonded to their surface to ensure slip resistance. Transverse members are 8 mm diameter rods of the same composition as the bearing bars. Saddle type clip of SS is used to fasten flooring to steelworks. These clips are also used to hold adjacent panels in place next to one another, with the end bearing bars of each panel at the standards 30 mm distances.
