Pyramid cartridge heaters are offered by, manufactured by allied electrical industries. These heaters , are appliedused in immersion heating units. The safe working temperature is up to 600°c which depends upon , depending upon sheath material and process application. Complete heater, only the heating element, or a part of it can be supplied. The advantage of these type of heaters is that, the cartridge [complete assembly of the heater] can be repaired or replaced, keeping the outer housing unchanged [which is generally welded/fixed with the vessel].
