Key Features of High Efficiency Particulate Air Filters
- Offers must have a minimum efficiency of 99.97% in capturing particles of 0.3 microns [a micron is one-millionth of a meter].
- It is made of a fibre glass paper, which is then pleated to maximize the surface area of the filter and is supported by using corrugated aluminum separators. For special applications, stainless steel can be provided.
- These casings are available in various metallic grades such as anodized aluminum and 304 or 316 S.S. Filters are provided with non-particle shedding gaskets, which guarantee secure sealing between filter and mounting frame.
