Abb offers various types of moveable substations for hot or ultra cold climate. Being a part of that st7 is a special movable substation for ultra cold climate. It consists of particular type containers where all the apparatus needed for the required service are accommodated. The special st7 substation consists of three blocks/parts:
1 36 kv part with spy switchgear - incoming and outgoing according to requirements
2 power transformer block up to 25 mva in oil or up to 16 mva dry types
3 12 kv part with various number of outgoing lines up to 3150 a on busbar and up to 40 ka breaking current
Salient features are:
-it is manufactured in diverse layouts, sizes and for different applications according to the customer`s requirements.
-it is available as one or two-transformer substation, end or transit substation, from 36 kv to 12 kv or backwards from 12 kv to 36 kv.
-st7 is fully tested according to iec and gost standards [with temperature of operation -55oc up to +50oc].
-it has completely independent units, which can be installed outdoors
