Piston valves from a b panchal & company are available in the range of seatless and glandless in up to 4" size with no stuffing box. This piston valves are available with asbestos ptfe piston slides between two packing rings that do not rotate providing a minimum ware. A ported lantern bush separates two packing rings, where bottom ring rests on a cast-machined groove of the body and upper packing ring held and remained pressed by bonnet on top. The nut of the stud is used for tightening the bonnet on the top ring, which presses the bottom ring. These piston valves offer advantages like leakage is observed from the hole of the bonnet of the valves; and it can be stopped on the line.
