Baliga lighting equipments has introduced flameproof junction boxes. These flameproof junction boxes have following salient features:
- liberal dimensions [180 dia internal] for proper wiring and to assure ease of space during maintenance;
- indicating lamp of led cluster design, with each led very bright, soldered on glass epoxy pcb and varnished for inhibiting corrosion;
- indicating lamp housing is large and the clear lens is protruding out of the housing for 2700 viewing angle;
- push button dimension is 40 mm diameter with large heads even when shrouded [start button] in order that at site even a gloved hand can be used;
- indicating lamp and the push buttons housing are threaded type and with gasket for ip-65 protection;
- spindle of the push button has a conical gasket to retain the spring and provide weather protection from spindle end;
- the terminal chamber is liberally dimensioned [180 dia] for adequate space for 16 terminals and termination at site without tripping over adjacent wiring;
- elements can be supplied with 2 no + 2 nc also without space limitations; and
- all wiring is with 2.5 mm2 multistrand copper wires with crimping lugs and ferruling with colour coded sleeves.
