The standard unit has triple action double spiral contra flow ribbon assembly fitted on a solid shaft .Whichthis quality adds strength and rigidity to the unit. The agitatorof the ribbon blender rotates with the help of heavy duty anti-friction roller bearings and leak-proof stuffing boxes at both ends. Material discharging facility is provided at the bottom side/centre by sliding gate or irish diaphragm valve or container tilting facility is provided. Hinged cover with feeding inlet is provided as required. Special features of the ribbon blender include: spray system, chopper, heating/cooling jacket, gmp/non-gmp model, flame-proof motor and other arrangements can be provided as desired. The drive of the blender is a worm reduction gearbox and v- belt drives from the motor; large machines are driven through final machine-cut spur gears to the agitator. The construction of the ribbon blender is of stainless steel 304/316 or mild steel. These ribbon blenders are ideal for blending friable material and are widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, spices, animal feeds, plastic powder, colouring agent powder, etc. They are available in working volume which rangesing from 25 to 4,000 litres.
