Stationery diesel engine oils are highly refined straight mineral oils fortified with anti-oxidant anti-wear and corrosion inhibitor additives. These are recommended for lubrication of slow and medium speed stationery diesel engines where operating conditions do not require a detergent. These oils are also found to give satisfactory performance in the lubrication of reciprocating and vane type air compressors.
