The High Tension Igniters are used to light the burners in domestic and industrial boilers, hot air generators and cooking ranges. The High Tension Igniters incorporate a pair of insulated electrodes which is connected to a high voltage [10 Kv], low current [25Ma] power supply. These High Tension Igniters have been made using corrosion and spark-erosion-resistant alloy which makes it suitable for 1400C operating temperature environment. Different types of High Tension Igniters are offered. The Alumina Insulators feature good dielectric and mechanical strengths. The Clamped Insulator Igniters are suitable for mounting in a fixed clamp, cast electrode housing, split collar, etc. With grub screws tightened directly against the insulators.
