NTB Hitech Ceramics produces Different types of Ferrules. NTB Hitech Ceramics is into the manufacturing and marketing of Industrial Ceramic Products used in a variety of applications, processes and markets. The different types of Ferrules are available like Alumina Ferrules, Recrystallized Alumina Ferrules, etc. The Alumina Ferrules are made to protect tube inlets of the Shell and Tube type heat exchangers from abrasive particle erosion and hot gas corrosion. The Alumina Ferrules are suitable in the Claus Process Sulphur Plants. The Recrystallized Alumina Ferrules feature good corrosive and mechanical wear resistance. Of the different types of Ferrules, the Recrystallized Alumina Ferrules protect the refractory wall from erosion by the hot gases. Ferrules can be specially designed with intermediate collar resting against the tube openings. Among the different types of Ferrules, the other kinds of Ferrules are incorporated with two collars in the refractory wall at various distances from the hot face. These completely sintered Ferrules are not suitable for thermal shock applications. The different types of Ferrules have 85 percent to 95 percent Fused Alumina, and about 20 percent porosity. These different types of Ferrules can be used for applications with extreme thermal shocks. The High Alumina Ceramic Ferrules are offered in standard sizes or customized designs.
