The measuring frame of the in-process gauging systems is suspended from wheel head housing by hydro spring dashpot. These in-process gauging systems are applicable in all cylindrical crankshaft grinding machine for plunge and traverse grinding with automatic size control and wheel retraction.
The unit has an unique advantage of being independent of sizing controls of the machine and eliminate rejection. Resetting is not required after wheel dressing. The in-process gauging systems are available with salient features of high repeatability and reliability. Retrofit of the tespa electronic gauge on any grinding machine can be done in 60 minutes without disturbing hydraulic or electrical controls. The gauging systems is fitted externally on grinding machine.
