Stainless Steel Wire Braid prevents elongation caused by the pressure on the hose which results in manifold increase in the hose`s pressure strength. Stainless Steel Wire Braids offers physical protection against damage to the tube and also dampens secondary vibration movements. The angles of lay, wire thickness, number of strands are carefully selected to meet the various application requirements. The braid is woven in such away that line pressure produces braid tension, and correspondingly provides radial and axial constraint prohibiting elongation of inner tubes. Multiple braided assemblies required to accommodate higher pressures, are also available.
