• Open splits, checks or open joints: Not more than 150 mm in length and 0.5 mm in width rectified with veneer insert bonded with synthetic resin adhesive.

• Torn grain, dead knots, dote is free from such defects, as well as discoloration and sapwood

• Moisture content is greater than 5 and less than 15
