Cubic transmissions offers double engaged gear coupling. This is a gear coupling with case harden teeth that are tailored to meet requirements up to 50000 kw and uses couplings as per agma standard andcouplings with torsion shaft up to 6 m long. Single engagement: this design is primarily used with floating shafts or 3 bearing drive trains; 1 flex half and 1 rigid half will accept only angular misalignment. Spacer coupling: these types of coupling are used for pump and compressor applications. Because of spacer the servicing of connected equipment will be easy. High performance coupling with forced oil lubrication: high performance couplings are most suitable for steam and gas turbine applications centrifugal compressor, boiler feed pump drives, etc.
