The Analyzer of model name ConSense is a system to measure concentrations and interactions of biomolecules in solution. It works with fluorescence labelling and contains a unique con-focal reader unit aiming at highest sensitivity. In this way detection limits in the sub-nanomolar concentration range can easily be reached. Interaction analysis for proteins, peptides and small molecules in solution, the analyzer is capable of detecting and quantitating interactions largely independent of molecule sizes, if one binding partner carries a fluorescence label. This provides freedom in the way the specific assay is set up and circumvents issues with surface immobilization. An interaction study can be done within 15 minutes.
