The casings of worm reduction gearbox are made from fine graded cast iron. Worm wheels rims are made from aluminium, bronze and phosphorous bronze [pb2c] casted on graded cast iron hubs.
The worm gears are hobbed with multi start hobs to ensure a high load carrying capacity. All these internals are supported on high quality ball / roller bearings designed for life under grease / oil splash lubrication.
