Bharat heaters manufacture a range of electric heaters. Strip heaters are used for surface heating, clamped on or spaced away from plates, dies, moulds, tanks, etc, and air heating for ovens and cabinets, drying, baking, melting, etc. The outer sheathings are made from rust resistant steel sheet/ss/brass, etc, as required for different applications. The heating element for moulding dies is mica insulated nichrome ribbon wire wound uniformly on mica blocks. For applications like air heating, drying, baking, etc, refractory insulated elements are used. Helical coiled elements are inserted into the refractory blocks uniformly. Standard sizes and capacities: length-14, 16, 18, 21, 30 and 36 inch; width-1½ and l-3/4 inch; thickness-3/8 and 5/16 inch. Operating voltage-l10, 240, 440 v; power rating-100 to 2,500 w.
