Bharat heaters offers half sheathed ring heaters for industrial applications which owing to their handy shape and sizes adapt themselves readily to variety of machines and appliances for which other types of heaters are not suitable. These half-sheathed ring heaters are applicable for heating platens, dies of presses and are also ideal for melting glue, wax, easily fusible metals like lead, tin, solder, etc. These ring heaters find applications in high speed packing machines, diffusion pumps, kettles, large coffee percolators and wash boilers, etc. The half-sheathed ring heaters are available in construction of chrome steel sheath on one side and edges, other flat side is the bare refractory; coiled electric resistant wire embedded inside and steel terminal studs with nuts and washers. These half-sheathed ring heaters come with salient advantages of little residual heat and stands up to 650°c temperature for its surface area being sheathed on one side only.
