Dc proximity switches has three wires and available in both pnp and npn transistor output in m-6.5 to m-80 cylindrical shape diameter sensing the target 1.5 mm to 50 mm carrying a load current max 200 ma with wide operating voltage 05-40v dc. All dc sensor are having safety provision, e.G., reverse polarity proof, short circuit proof and overload current protection. Ac proximity switches have two wires and drive a load in series, available in both no or nc thyristor output in m-12 to m-80 cylindrical diameter sensing the target 2 mm to 50 mm, carrying a load current max 500 ma with wide operating voltage 20-250v ac and low leakage current [<1.5 ma].
