Product Profile of Aritan Gsi Liquid Tanning Agent

ARITAN GSI LIQUID tanning agent is based on synthetic resin based on carbamide formaldehyde precondensate. The product ARITAN GSI LIQUID tanning agent is suitable for the retannge of chrome upper, clothing leathers and upholstery. ARITAN GSI LIQUID tanning agent has color yield that produces a good regular, nap on the suede. ARITAN GSI LIQUID tanning agent can be used in retaining of nappa leather sheep, goat, suede leather and for full grain or corrected grain hide. The salient features of the ARITAN GSI LIQUID tanning agent:

• Retanning : used of 3-5% may be applied alone in combination with suitable synthetic tanning for levelling out irregularities in the structure of leather & controlling the rataining process.

• Chorme tanning : [1.5 to 2% on weight] in chorme tanning bath improves the plumpness and grain tightness of cattle hides for shoe uppers

• Pickling : [3-5% on weight] is added to pickle bath at pH of about 5 and treatment time of 30 minutes produces leather which are substantially more compact in nature.
