Flammable Asafoetida with Bitter Taste is available in paste form. It very bitter in taste and is used only in north India. It turns red when exposed to air and has to be dissolved and filtered in water as it contains many impurities in it. It contains of sticky resin, which makes it more flammable. Hence, it is not suggested to be used as edible. It must only be used for preparing pesticides and other such products. Whooping cough, asthma and bronchitis can all be treated with this.
