Auma manufacturers multi-turn gearboxes to increase the torque or to reposition the output shaft. Auma`s spur gearboxes are used for the operation of valves [e.G. Gate valves, globe valves]. Salient features of spur gearboxes are as follows:

• Short-time duty s2 - 15 min [open-close duty]

• Intermittent duty s4 - 25 % [modulating duty]

• They can either be operated in:

• Manual operation directly via hand wheel

• Motor operation [electric multi-turn actuator

• Gearbox is prepared for mounting an actuator flange

• Clockwise rotation at the input shaft results in clockwise

• Clockwise rotation at the input shaft results in clockwise rotation at the output drive

• To reverse the direction of rotation of gst 10.1 - gst 30.1, a reversing gearbox gw 14.1 can be used

• Gst 10.1 - gst 16.1 are single stage gearboxes with intermediate wheel

• Gst 25.1 - gst 40.1 are double stage gearboxes
