Green field industries manufactures polyester slings. These polyester slings are meant for lifting/material handling purposes so that they can replace conventional weighty/cumbersome wire ropes and chain slings. For example, if a particular tonnage is to be tilted, the weight of the polyester sling used would be 15% of the weight of the equivalent conventional metallic rope. With properties like high tensile strength, low stretch factor, highly flexible, hardwearing, acid resistant and weatherproof, these slings are more than a match to steel.
