Technical enterprises offers mobile conveyors for bag handling. The model shown here is a portable [on wheels] bag conveyor, specially designed for handling/loading of sugar, fertilisers and cement bags in trucks and railway wagons. These conveyors being on wheels, can be shifted any where in the plant quite conveniently and can be used in a line, so that the bags can be conveyed over long distances and stock piled in the godown. The boom is supported on a rectangular frame made of sturdy steel sections. The tail end of the conveyor will be pivoted on the same. There will be two sliding props at the front end, which will rise up the boom to any desired height. No mechanical/electrical parts will be caused. The base frame is mounted on two nylon wheels; each wheel will be fitted with two ball bearings hermetically sealed to avoid ingress of fertiliser. Arrangement is made for tightening and keeping the conveyor belt straight in line. The props will raise the boom and maintain it at such a height that no part of the conveyor will foul with the wagon structure, if the train starts moving. The whole conveyor can be handled by two unskilled persons who will fix it under the overhead chute, take it out and carry it to any other place in the whole bagging plant very conveniently and swiftly. Guide raisl will be provided throughout the length of the boom in order to ensure that the bags do not fall on either side. Two unskilled persons can fix the conveyor anywhere in the plant, connect the supply mains, adjust the height of the boom and start conveying bags instantaneously.
