Flexible Soft Touch Keyboard consists of bottom circuit and top circuit which are separated by a spacer of suitable thickness. The switching action takes place when the top circuit is pressed against the bottom circuit. The top and bottom circuits of the Keyboard are fabricated from heat stabilized polyester film. This Keyboard can be tail terminated via female clincher connector in 2.54 mm pitch or via female crimp flex type connector in 2.54 mm pitch or via male solderable contacts in 2.54 mm pitch or can have stiff carbon coated tail in 2.54 mm pitch for flex tail type [insertion type ] connector.
