Protolab electrotechnologies offers membrane keypads. The keypads can provide clear transparency with lcds or red, green, amber, yellow, violet and smoke grey filtered transparent for use with leds and segment displays with hard coat and anti glare finish. The smd chip leds can also be sealed in the flexible membrane or soldered on the pcb. Where pre-printed information is not included in graphic layers, a series of pockets can be engineered to accept additional legend strips making the panels user definable and friendly. Built-in shielding layers to minimise or eliminate emi/ rfi of static interference using copper, aluminium shields and carbon or silver grids with tabs.
