Hpfci, a wholly owned subsidiary of prominent dosiertechnik gmbh, manufactures electronic dosing pumps. These are available up to a capacity of 60 l/hr and maximum pressure rating of 20 bar. They are available in types concept e, gamma 4,b and gamma 5. These dosing pumps are solenoid driven and controlled electronically. The only moving part in the pump is the solenoid armature, which has a maxium movement of 1.25 mm only and therefore the pump is virtually maintenance free. The developan diaphragm of the pump is made of high quality fabric reinforced epdm with moulded steel core and coating of teflon on the media contacted side. The stroke length and stroke frequency can be both varied offering a high range of adjustability. The pumps can be offered with facility for accepting pulse signals or analogue signals of 0/4-20 ma for automatic control of dosing. The gamma range of pumps can also be offered with programmable features. The pumps have the in-built feature for low level indication in the dosing tank through a tank level switch. The following information is needed to select a suitable dosing pump: chemical to be dosed; capacity in litres/hour and back pressure. Depending on the chemical to be dosed, the liquid ends can be offered in acrylic [n], polypropylene [pp], pvc [p], teflon [t] or stainless steel [ss]. Double ball valves on the suction and discharge side ensure maximum reliability.
