Komet precision tools offers tangential inserts. Tools with tangential inserts fitted on the periphery or face side are particularly notable for the extremely high stability, which results from optimum absorption of cutting forces. The komet group has developed new inserts with 8 cutting edges - q80 - for roughing and milling operations. Along with the sintered chip topography -05 for cast materials and -17 for steel materials on pvd coated carbide grades, precision ground versions are also available for cutting aluminium and fine machining operations.
