The scanners constantly scan all the input channels and provide deliver parameter data. Multi channel temperature scanners also monitor channel wise alarm registration and the alarm limits. Multi channel temperature dedicated monitors are specially designed for critical protection applications. These are equipped with one dedicated measuring circuit for each channel so that that failure of any measuring circuit creates impact on particular channel.
