This grinding wheel balancer has some technical features which include:enables in-situ balancing of grinding wheels in a few minutes without the need for removal and downtime; is based on the measurement of vibration on the wheelhead; the imbalance can be directly corrected by moving two weights to locations indicated on the unit, since the vibration is proportional to imbalance; a simple procedure allows the determination of the proportionally constants, which are machine specific and have to be determined once only; using a dedicated piece of software for the purpose, the same can be saved on a pc.
