Western floor supplies a street sweeper, manufactured by dulevo international, italy. This is an efficient method of cleaning city centers, airports, docks and large industrial areas. Model 5000 has a patented mechanical vacuum waste collection system. Large diameter side brooms collects dirt and debris. This is thrown into the path of the powerful main broom that sweeps everything forward into a high speed vertical conveyor. This in turn transfers the collected material into the waste hopper. Fine dust is also drawn directly into the hopper by a powerful vacuum system created by a high efficiency fan. A special heavy duty polyester filter assures that only clean air is exhausted back into the environment. This optimum combination provides the advantages of both vacuum and mechanical systems concurrently eliminating defects like low operating speed, blockages within the system, poor dust control or the necessity for large amounts of water during sweeping. The dulevo combined mechanical vacuum system permits the rapid sweeping of all types of debris without using watertanks to the outstanding performance of the polyester filter [down to 3 micron].
