Horizon polymer engg offers off the rack/ex-stock teflon lined ball valves in the size range of 1"-6". Horizon lined ball valves are created to handle any corrosive fluids from -60 to + 200°c. The body, adaptor, ball and stem of the valves are lined as individual components. Uniform lining and high vacuum rating guaranteed by a unique moulding process. The liner is locked in the casting permitting horizon valves to be used at high vacuum and temperatures without the possibility of liner collapse. The body design minimises the dead space between the ball stem and housing. The free floating ball valve principle makes it possible for the ball to seal against the down stream seat ring ensuring a positive sealing force even when the line pressure is low. Anti blowout stem is provided. Anti-static device provides protection against a damaging electrostatic discharge. Extremely low torque ensures bubble tight shut-off and facilitates manual quarter turn operation. Horizon valves are equipped with an iso mounting flange simplifying the mounting of any standard actuator. The short pattern face-to-face dimensions allow direct replacement of a fully lined or sleeve plug valve with a horizon lined ball valve.
