This twin chambered incinerator from alfa- therm ltd. Is design, where refractory lined chambers are mounted on top of each other. Volatilization of waste is achieved in primary chamber through supply of air through various nozzles on all sides of the primary chambers. Heat is generated with fuel oil burner with auto operation system. In the incineration process, the waste is thermally decomposed in the primary chamber at a temperature of 800±500 c. The gaseous products [volatile mater] are completely oxidized in the secondary chamber due to sufficient residence time, high temperature [1050±500 c.] high turbulence and 100% excess air. The flame port through which the gases pass from primary chamber to secondary chamber is sized to produce high velocity for excellent mixing of combustion air and gases. Type of waste that can be incinerated are paper , timber, refusing textures , leather ,rice grass , non-eatable foods, synthetic resin, rubber, tyres , oil soaked cotton/cloth waste and any other waste having some combustible value.
