Immersion heater for vertical use [re-wireable, bobbin type] are made of m.S./s.S./ titanium or lead bonded pipe with clamp plate, which is fitted with a replaceable refractory insulated heating element inside. M.S./s.S./lead bonded heaters are provided with a metallic cover for terminal protection whereas titanium heaters are provided with a heat resistant rubber cap & connecting wires.
These heaters are used in water, oil, foodstuff, alkaline solutions, anodising and plating baths etc. Lead bonded heaters are used in phosphoric acid, chromic acid etc. Titanium heaters are used in nitric and chromic acid solutions etc.
