Binay opto electronics has introduced led-based illuminators. They are similar in size to an mr-16 lamp housing. This new power led sparkle lights includes three power leds to give a high level illumination. The leds can be warm white, cool white or rgb. There are two options available of light beam angles. Those are 15 degrees for a spot beam and 30 degrees for more diffused output. The lamps are available in standard 3w and 6w options. It has advantages like longer life, high illumination; very low power consumption [3 to 5 watts]; less heat generation than halogens [since these uses a non- glowing light source]; high resistance to shocks [since these uses solid-state leds with no filament to break]; cool light with no heat radiation; and ability to withstand a wide variation in input voltage.
