External Ventricular Drainage System is a collection bag which is made up of one unitized PVC bag of 40 X 16 cm containing two separate measuring chambers of 900 ml & 50 ml attached with air vent, inlet unit, outlet point and a holding cord. The inlet unit of External Ventricular Drainage System is attached to a connecting tube having a stopper and luer lock connector. The drip chamber of inlet unit can be used to monitor fluid flow. A measuring scale is also attached to the PVC bag for regulating flow by way of lowering or raising the bag. It is supplied ready to use in peel open packs sterilized by EO.
