Kwality photonics manufactures hi-flux leds for illumination applications. The hi-flux leds can be operated at 50 ma to 170 ma current levels to deliver 7000 to 25,000 mcd brightness output. These leds can also operate at 20 ma lower current levels where brightness output falls to 3,000 mcd. The company provides these hi-flux leds with a high thermal conductive material packaging with four leads that drain the heat and keep the led temperature down for efficient operation. The hi-flux leds can also simulate point light source for enhanced optical performance as well as sunlight applications like traffic control lights, automobile brake lights and outdoor signs. The hi-flux leds also find applications in automotive exterior tail light, brake and side marker lighting and interior lighting, displays and signage lighting, backlighting, status indication for industrial controls and machinery, cellular antenna control box status lights viewed over long distances, etc.
