Brirnco engineering works presents drum sieves [bkb type] in horizontal overhung version that rotate in an enclosed casing. These drum sieves are made of perforated sheet metal and without rotary diving members, the sieves kept open by brush with plug geared motors. The drum sieves are very versatile as pre-cleaning machines. They are used above all the intake section of granular and floury bulk material in flour mills, silos and other factories in food provender and chemical industries. The drum sieves serve to separate coarse impurities, such as straw particles string, paper, pieces of wood, mare leaves and cobs, etc, in order to relieve down stream machines and conveyors and to protect them against operating faults and damage. Moreover, they are suitable for performing certain cleaning operations.
