Aastrid International presents a spectacular range of homogenisers from glas-col, an iso 9001 certified company. It is with variable speed motor drive homogenisers building the process faster, safer and more complete. The drive features include totally enclosed 1/40 hp motors; two output shafts [5/16" dia] for maximum speeds of 4,000 and 333 rpm; and torques to 3.6 lb.In. For high-speed operations, the direct-drive shaft is recommended while the geared shaft generates high torque and lower speeds. The homogenizer`s electronic motor controller delivers versatile and reliable performance while maintaining speed. It provides smooth rotation and repeatability reduced motor temperature as well. The filtered circuitry; a switch for reversing pestle direction during homogenizing helps reduce the noise level. It’s switch permits the motor shaft to rotate in the proper direction for use with the quick change chuck and cord connection so that the motor control can be placed away from corrosive hood environments for ease of access. With new models come a 3 jaw keyless chuck and 90° clamp. Optional accessories: flex-grip chucks for glass pestles; quick-change chucks for teflon pestle; flexible drive for safer homogenizing; and lab stand. The specifications are as follows: lab bench case size - 8" [w] x 6" [d] x 3.38" [h]; motor size - 4.38" [w] x 4.38" [d] x 5.50" [h]; and foxtip gray/charcoal finish.
