Hyd-air engineering offers quick disconnect couplings that supply instant assembly or disassembly of fluid filled lines. Automatic connection or disconnection automatically activates valves to release or interrupt the flow, correspondingly. These valves do not rely on the line pressure to seal either end and are properly designed to sensibly remove spilling of liquid or emission of gas during assembly, which is done by dislocating the outer sleeve of the female socket in the direction connection and vice versa. Spring activated poppets with soft seats in both plug and socket ensure fluid-tight seals when disconnected. Quick couplings come in sizes from 6.35 mm to 38.1 mm in cadmium plated steel and in stainless steel for pressures up to 350 kg/cm2 and temperatures from -30° to +100°c for nitrile and from -30° to +150°c for viton seals.
