With minimum investment, the smart wash technique gives the user a terrazzo floor look-alike finish on the walls. It requires no painting at all. Application of a coat of silicon paint makes the wall resistant to water ingress and washable. It comes with the brand name of `Smartwash`. After dividing into panels, the mixed mortar shall be applied from the top panel to the bottom panels. After levelling and hard hand towelling the mixture would be allowed to set for around two hours. Now finally water would be sprinkled on the surface and it would be rubbed with a brush with hard-bristles to wash-out the covering layer of cement mortar and to expose the multicolour marble chips.
