Komal agencies offers a range of plating/coating thickness testing systems. Model ptt-direct works on eddy-current principle, using a non destructive method. The range covered is 0 to 100 and 250 microns, with an accuracy of +/- 5 percent and readability 0.1 microns. The minimum measuring area is 6 mm flat surface. Application is for lower conductivity coating on higher conductivity base: paint, varnish, teflon, anodising, powder coating, insulating coating on copper, aluminium and brass.
