The tig/mig 511 is a cupro-nickel filler wire for tig and mig welding. Its distinct features are:

• Corrosion, seawater and heat resisting alloy, with good creep-resistance at high temperature.

• The weld metal is tough and with proper care, free of porosity.

• Protection of the reverse side is necessary when welding root runs.

Used on welded joints on monel, monel-clad steels, nickel-copper alloys and unalloyed or low alloy steels with ni-cu content. Monel surface coatings on ferrous materials. Other applications include its use in chemical industry, shipbuilding, oil industry, pump impellers, tubes [e.G. Heat-exchanger of condenser tubes], distillation towers, tanks. Suitable for working temperatures ranging from 196 to + 400 c.
