It comprises of the following unique features:

- Stellite alloy 6 is said to have an outstanding resistance to seizing or galling as well as cavitation erosion.
- Retains its hardness at high temperature and resists oxidation to 1095deg.C.

- The stellite 6 has a hardness of 37 - 50 hrc, tensile strength of 121 ksi, yield strength near uts ksi & elongation is less than 1 %
