Product Profile of Stellite Alloy 6
Ador fontech limited is engaged in supplying products & services, related to conservation of mineral reserves, to industries like steel, mining, power plants, railways, road transport workshops, sugar mills, shipping industries etc. Stellite alloy 6 is an alloy in the co-cr-w-c family of alloys. It comprises of the following unique features:
- It provides resistance to many forms of wear and corrosion over a wide range of temperature.
- Stellite alloy 6 is said to have an outstanding resistance to seizing or galling as well as cavitation erosion.
- Retains its hardness at high temperature and resists oxidation to 1095deg.C.
- Combines these properties along with the highest strength and ductility
- It has an alloy basis of c si fe ni cr w co & b
- The stellite 6 has a hardness of 37 - 50 hrc, tensile strength of 121 ksi, yield strength near uts ksi & elongation is less than 1 %
Used to combat galling in valve trim. Protects against erosion on turbine blades and
Valve parts, also used for half and full sleeve bushings as well as knives, scrappers, pump sleeves and liners.
