Product Profile of Lh-1125[low Heat Input Welding Alloy]
Ador fontech limited is engaged in supplying products & services to industries like steel, mining, power plants, railways, road transport workshops, sugar mills, cement plants, fertilizer & chemical plants, workshops, shipping industries etc. They manufacture low heat input welding alloys which are electrodes used for the welding of stainless steel. The lh-125 welding alloy, from ador fontech, is an austenitic stainless steel [ss] electrode with the following special features:
- The lh-1125 has an alloy basis of iron, chromium, molybdenum & nickel
- It has a uts of 63 kfg/sq.Mm & elongation of 45%.
- Weld deposit is fully austenitic with controlled ferrite content 4 to 8%.
- Inter granular corrosion resistibility is due to extremely low carbon content in weld metal [0.03%].
- Weld bead appearance with straight toe line & wetting in fillet welds with 5% extra weld bead length.
- Self-releasing slag with no need for weld dressing.
- Weld deposit with defect free radiographic performance in multipass welds
- Smooth spray metal transfer with ac or dc[+] operation
- Weld deposit is flat/concave with consistent ripples & free from porosity
The lh-1125 electrode is of elc [extra low carbon-0.03%]. Used for joining & surfacing on corrosion resistant, austenitic 18 cr/8 ni, 18/8/mo steel except sulphur corrosion atmosphere. Also used on 316l-17 requirement.
