• No flux is required for carrying out brazing on copper;

• Flux is used on copper alloys.

• Its uts is 28 kgf/mm, melting temperature is 800deg.C & elongation [l = 5d] is greater than 10%

• Electrical conductivity is 7 sm/mm & specific gravity is 8.4 g/cm

Used in capillary brazing of copper-copper joints which are subjected to severe loading, in apparatus, electromotors and pipework construction; on heat exchangers; in refrigeration engineering for joints operating at very low temperatures. Brazing of cu-zn and cu-sn alloys, gun metal. For brazed joints operating at temperatures up to 150 c. Unsuitable for used in sulphurous environments, as well as on fe and ni alloys.
