Self-Operated Pressure Regulators are control devices whose measuring units draw their energy from the process medium, which creates sufficient force to move the final element. The regulators consist of a valve and an actuator, which either opens or close closes the valve when the pressure increases. The regulators are proportional regulators controlled by the process medium. Each deviation from the adjusted set point is assigned a certain valve plug position.
