Britacel are manufacturers of specialty silicones which cater to the needs of textile finishing, silicone emulsions, defoamers for hot spinning and jet dyeing, body fillers, water repellents, printing products and reactive dyes. Texasil is a silicone elastomer in which amino alkyl group are affixed to a predominantly epoxy silicone structure. The silicone elastomers possess the following salient features:
Texasil is compatible with cationics and nonionics
Texasil is constituted of polydiorgano silicone elastomer
Gives soft hand along with excellent surface smoothness
Texasil improves tear strength and crease recovery
Improves fabric elasticity with negligible effect on colour fastness and hydropillicity of treated goods.
Does not cause any change in shade or bleeding of dyed goods
Texasil is generally applied by the padding method.
