Britacel are manufacturers of specialty silicones. Ecostab is an organic polymer having dispersing and sequestering property. The following are its salient features:
Pale yellowish brown clear liquid
Flowable liquid
Readily soluble in water
Specific gravity at 25 deg c lies between 1 and 1.2
Both ecostab i and ecostab d have no adverse effect on final yield of colour.
Ecostab d has moderate sequestering action but good dispersing action.
Ecostab has a powerful sequestering as well as dispersing action.
Ecostab will keep impurities of raw cotton like oils, fats waxes and pectinates in very fine dispersed form thus avoiding chances of uneven dyeing.
Ecostab doesn`t allow calcium or magnesium to form salts which are difficult to wash out also it will neutralize the adverse effect of above is on final shade, thus making dyeing a trouble free process.
Used in the initial stage of dyeing.
